Last year, Chess Angels ran youth gym sessions with Higher Expectations students — and they were a huge hit. Now we're bringing them back: two gym days a month, starting November, running through April.

Our why
More than just gym time
At Chess Angels Promotions, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to move, grow, and thrive beyond the classroom. Springdale Education Center students spend much of their school day indoors without access to a gym or dedicated space for physical activity. Through our partnership with Higher Expectations, we want to give these students something meaningful to look forward to: a chance to release energy, relieve stress, build confidence, and simply enjoy being kids.
This initiative is about more than physical fitness. It's about mental wellness, emotional balance, and creating opportunities for personal growth. We recognize that sometimes a change of environment can make all the difference in a student's day. By providing access to gym sessions, positive mentorship, and personalized fitness pathways, we're investing in their overall well-being and reminding them that their health, happiness, and future matter.
Because every child deserves a space where they can feel free, feel supported, and discover what they're capable of.
